Success series: Minikarats – indipendent jewelry designer

As a lover of all-things-white I couldn’t miss this super cozy shop in Siam Soi 2.

It happens to be a jewelry shop owned by Khun Ngarn, a Thai girl who started her business almost as a joke three years ago when she occasionaly used to do random photoshoots with friends.

She was the one styling the looks, sourcing the clothes, jewelry and props. When people were seeing the photos they always asked about the earrings and this is how she decided to start selling them. First on facebook and through friends, and then to the friends of the friends…etc.

Now she sells the full range of jewelry pieces and even features some shoes and handbags.

I guess this is the n-example of what two of the principles of success are:
1. Do what you love, eventually it will pay you back
2. Network, network, network
