Vogue Lounge Bangkok

Looking for a glamorous and fashionable experience in Bangkok? Vogue Lounge is the place to be.

Located on the top floor of the MahaNakhon Cube– the ultimate exclusive dining destination, it features an ultra-chic indoor and alfresco space.

As soon as you get off the elevator well known images from Vogue’s archives introduce you to the right mood ( maybe they do so too well since me and my partner in crime unsuccessfuly tried to emulate their content while nobody was watching ). The internal design is dominated by very Instagramable marble and gold elements plus plum-leather soft seatings, while the terrace is black and white themed.

You can enjoy a great selection of enticing cocktails while tasting your buds over the bite-size food masterpieces including Poached bio eggs, Gingered Tuna Tartar, Lobster Ravioli, Buckwheat Soba Noodles or Duck Foie Fras Terrine ( all 350 baht or around 11 usd ).

As for the cocktails, I took Berry in Town ( 220 baht, 7 usd ), from the Fresh and Health section of the menu, which was made with Mixed Berries, Iced Tea, Lime Juice and Mint and it was the best I have ever tasted – and trust me, I consider myself a world-class connoisseur of non-alcoholic drinks and a very capricious one on top of that.

However, if you like the burning sensation in your throat you can opt for one of the signature cocktails prepared by the internationally trained Japanese mixologist. Our Thai seemed particularly intriguing – a mix of Lamoon Lamai Thai Rum, Plum Wine, Absinthe, Fresh Thai Mango, Passion Fruit and House Made Thai Chilli Tabasco ( 340 baht, 11 usd ).

Last but not least, the service was great and the staff very attentive and competent.

After the sun sets the place gets quite crowded with local fashionistas and high-profile young professionals so it might be a good idea booking in advance.

Vogue Lounge is a a few steps away from Chong Nonsi BTS. Open every day from 10:00 to 02:00.

P.S: Vogue Lounge is right below the Ritz-Carlton Residences-under-construcion building, which, when finished, will be the tallest building in Bangkok.

P.P.S. There are currently three Vogue Cafès around the world – in Moscow, Kiev and Dubai. Bangkok is the first and the only city to host a dining venue, but this will not last for long. Guess which city will be next?

  1. Wow thanks for the tip! Didn’t know! U guys look so classy 🙂

  2. You recently gave a blog post of mine a ‘like’, so thank you. Glad you are enjoying Bangkok. For eating and nightlife, check out the Thong Lo area further along Sukhumvit Road. (Thong Lo BTS.) This is also where many Japanese expats live so you get a good mix of Thai, international and Japanese food. For fashion, the trendsetter in Asia is Korea, so you should consider a trip to Seoul, especially if you have friends on the ground who speak Korean. Buon viaggio.

    1. Thank you for the suggestions, Jame! As for South Korea, I absolutely want to go but are you suggesting that they speak even less English than Thais do?

      1. Very little English. You will need a friend there who can take you around. But Korean fashion, music, plastic surgery, TV shows all set the trend in Asia. (Especially plastic surgery!)
