21 Unwearable Looks from the Runway FW 15/16 ( MFW & PFW )

Here is to some of the most unconventional looks I saw during Milan and Paris fashion weeks. Whether they are cool or not it’s up to you, and we are not here to argue about personal taste, but indisputably they might be slightly unwearable, especially if you are not that avant-garde type who likes to be the center of attention.

I noticed that there is still this micro trend of the extra long sleeves that finish many centimeters past the wrist bone – wouldn’t this create some discomfort when you have to check your phone, open the door or do whatever action that involves the use of your hands?

  1. I would disagree on some looks. Such as the Kendell Jenner look is quite wearable (though not on a normal human being like us but celebrities like Lady GaGa prefers to wea Avant-garde looks to be different than their peers and obviously to attract attention). Even the Celine look is quite wearable. It’s just a maroon sweater! Also, you can argue that PFW has mostly designers that create fashion but not everything is necessarily wearable.. They inspire us and bring new fashion in this world. But ur absolutely right with the Yohji Yamamoto look. He is on another level of fashion! Totally not wearable.

I love your post though! Its very thought provoking ;P

    1. Yes, he is totally haute! I wish I had his skills and use them in a small dose. As for the Celine sweater don’t you think it is a little bit too daring and sexual? I absolutely agree with your point, what we see on the runway is designers’s fantasies unchained and I love that, it is a source of inspiration to me.

  2. Definitely unwearable!
#13 not too bad I would wear it. Without the hat.
Long sleeves, when smoking cigarettes, the bottom of the sleeves get burned!

    1. #13 I think I would wear only the hat , the other two pieces will create me a big mix and match problem 🙂
