Milan Street Style: Mid-calf lenght

Jeans, culottes and skirts, gals and guys; young and adults – the current “It” lenght in Milan is the one below the knee and above the ankle. Believe me unconditionally or check the pics below.

I was wondering if culottes are such a popular trend in other part of the world as well? In Bangkok they definitely weren’t. If you have any observations about your area please let me know in the comments.

  1. Love the post as always
Culottes are a favorite to a few, where I’m from Nairobi, Kenya, but I’m positive that more people will catch up soon

    1. I have noticed that at the beginning only the fashion forward used to wear them, but now they sell culottes evrywhere and more people wear them, it already seems the norm. Do you have many international fashion chains like zara, mango, h&m…there?

  2. I cannot help think that as a female you have an advantage, if I was to go around taking fashion photos of girls here in BKK I am sure I would get labelled as a perve 🙂

    1. Ahaha Mike, I can not but admit that you are right. Especially when it come to candid shots. Once, while shooting in Bkk, there was a man, maybe your age, he was taking photos of the girls but he asked for their permission first. I remember taking advantage of the situation and shooted as well (it’s much easier to capture a non-moving subject).
But on the other hand, the advantage will be on your side if you, for example, run as a rappresentative of the police in your neighbourhood 🙂
