Cozy Vintage Shop and Cafè: Pause Milano

Tucked away from the bustling  Corso Buenos Aires (a paradise for low-medium-cost shopping) Pause cafè welcomes us with a relaxed, homey feel with vintage styling and rustic touches. I saw it for the first time in late September when the weather was warm and  it was full of people standing outside, sipping their drinks. As you might already know I am a sucker for cozy little places and you are definitely not going to see me at Starbucks, unless I am in a foreign country, without a local sim and desperately needing a wi-fi.

So, last Saturday we went to Pause for merenda (afternoon snack). It was very difficult for me to choose where to  sit as I liked every single table. However, when I finally made up my mind we proceeded with the order. There is no menu so I don’t know if we missed out something but once everything was ready (and pictures were taken) I succumbed to the flawless cappuccino and sinfully good carrot cake.

The place is so comfrotable and appealing, with a friendly staff and nice, low music, that the desire to nestle in and linger for a while comes more naturally that you can immagine.

The cafè is mainly clued-up with locals who appreciate the intimate atmosphere. I reccomend it to anyone looking for a spot with a home feel away from home.

Pause cafè is in Via Federico Antonio Ozanam, 7, Milan, 30 seconds away from Corso Buenos Aires and Lima red line metro stop. It’s open everyday except Sunday.

P.S. I was wearing a dress (a little bit modified by me) and a belt from my CLB shop.

Love,

  1. Hi! Would you say that this is a good study spot? There is limited study space at my university so I’m on the lookout for a nice cafe where I can comfortably study for a couple of hours. This cafe looks so cute by the way!

    1. Hi Seira, yes, it is definitely suitable for studying, I would avoid the lunch break hours though. In which university do you go?
