Hidden Roof Top Bar in Milan

Milan might not be famous for its roof top bars but it definitely boasts some of the most enchanting ones. One of them is located in the cultural and art district called 5 Vie (5 streets). More precisely on the top floor of Santa Marta Suites, a luxury hotel situated five minutes away from Duomo.

I have seen the hotel itself many times as I love to browse these narrow streets but I had never imagined it has a tarrace on the top. Luckily, I decided to check their Instagram profile and there it was. One photo, one evidence. All the rest is history,

I couple of days ago I finally made my way to the bar. The atmosphere was very “old Milan”, elegant and relaxing. The service was very attentive and friendly and my only worry was which table to occupy. I can not say anything about the menu as we were asked what we wanted to drink and I didn’t see the proposals at all.

The only thing I know is that we paid € 30 for a Sanbittèr and a Spritz (the snacks were included).

I would definitely return for a latte macchiato. I really enjoy the idea of watching the Duomo while sipping my afternoon fix and thinking of how to expand my empire.

Here are very few photos I took. Actually, I wasn’t planning at all to write a post about it but since I discovered that the totality of my friends ignores the existence of the bar above Santa Marta Suites, I thought that sharing my valuable knowledge might be useful.

Santa Marta Suites is located in Santa Marta Str. at n.4. Closest metro station Duomo (yellow and red line) plus 5 minutes walking in a labyrinth of small streets.
