Riad Food Garden – a coffee shop that resembles a riad. It is is decorated in minimal Moroccan style, enriched with beautiful ceramics, trinkets and lush plants that are available to come home with you (in exchange for money of course).

Fioraio Bianchi Caffè – established forty years ago in the heart of Brera district is still preserves the authentic vintage atmosphere with a French feel. From breakfast to dinner it is the go-to place for the locals.

Gesto Milano – eco-sustainable place where you can indulge in some superb gourmet tapas served on small blackboards.

L’Arabesque – a cult store with a restaurant vintage inspired area, with comfortable tufted velvet chairs and homamade pastries. The service is not the most attentive ever but the nice setting makes up for that.

Clotilde Bistrot –a coffee bar and restaurant with big glass windows that allow you to enjoy the Milanese life while comfortably sittng on a soft sofa.

Santa Marta – “old Milan” atmosphere, elegant and relaxing, on the top floor of Santa Marta Suites, a luxury hotel situated five minutes away from Duomo.

Bar Luce – the cheerful color palettes and vintage pinball machines will take you back to the Italian pop art culture in the ’50s and the ’60s, while the modish bathroom will bring you back to the current minimalism. The menu is quite traditional with a good selection of sandwiches for lunch, a few cakes and cocktails.

Da Mimmo – more known for its restaurant, the venue, tuckled away in the small streets around Porta Venezia, boasts one of the nicest outdoor coffee/aperitivo places as well. Unbeatable in summer.
