Recognized for its playful and whimsical mood, Sretsis is one of the best Thai fashion brands. Founded in 2002 by three sisters, the name of the company actually means ‘sisters’ spelled backwards.
The collections include clothing and accessories that are inspired from the past but are youthful and refreshingly modern. The use of delicate fabrics like silk chiffon and charmeuse and the fact that most of the embroideries and appliques are hand-finished add additional value to the creations of the sisters.
With its quirky and girly designs it is no surprise that the brand is very popular across Asia, especially in Japan where the Tokyo Fashion Week kicked off with the floral labyrinth show of the Bangkokian creatives.
By the way Sretsis is the first Thai brand ever that entered my fashion radar. It happened two years ago while I was browsing Instagram – I was seduced by their fantasy inspired campaigns, which made me daydream even if I’m unquestionably more normcore oriented type.
P.S. The price tags range between 2.500 and 50.000 baht ( 75$ – 1.500$ ).
