Following the latest trends can be risky especially if you don’t fancy seeing other people wearing the same items. I remember it happened to me three years ago at a wedding. Both me and the witness were wearing Hervé Léger’s dresses (which were a must-have then), fortunately in different colors but, as you know, they are all the same at the end.
I spot fashion twins on the street all the time, since we all go regularly to Zara, H&M and Mango. Even the fashionistas who spend tons of time (and probably money) picking up the perfect outfit are not insured against duplicates – see below some examples from the last two weeks. Note to self: when I become a celebrity I will have to ask Giorgio (Armani) for custom made clothes.

I feel the same way about trends! I’m always worried that everyone will be doing it, I guess that’s how fashion works 🙂
I guess that if not everyone does it then it’s not a trend. I try to be less trend following but it’s not always easy when every shop has the same stuff.
