“You may have the Universe if I may have Italy” Giuseppe Verdi said. I would just add “Southern” and I could print this quote on my passport. Not that I don’t like the North but la vita is definitely much more bella in the South. So beautiful that I could (almost) forget my tropical cravings for Taha’a.
As no one of you knows, me and my babe spend every summer holiday near Salerno. When we are there we never miss the chance to head to the sunshine soaked coast of Amalfi. This year the target town was Minori, a relaxed and easygoing seaside place that also boasts a big pastry shop, run by Salvatore de Riso – one of the most famous pastry chefs in Italy. Of course we didn’t went there for the food but only to assist the cultural activitis that the city hosts (sure!).
Jokes apart, I have already been to several towns on the Coast, Minori included, I have explored them well, taken hundreds of pictures and still I feel it’s not enough. If it was a person I would hold it as tight as I can and never let it go. But it is a place, it is a dream that keeps returning and I can’t get enough of it. Besides, do I really need to get enough of la bella vita?
Have you ever been on Amalfi coast? How do you feel about it?
You can also check my short video with our drive through Cetara and Maiori.
Tip: If you go on the coast and want to be indipendent, rent a motorcycle. If you travel by car be sure to arrive at destination early as the parking places are not infinite. Prices start from 3 eur per hour/30 euros per day. Another options is to use the public boat service.

Looks amazing!! I have always wanted to travel there!!
Absolutely a must visit place. A real immersion into all things Italian
That street art ? that book, that everything ?
Ahaha yes! ? I don’t know why when I saw them my first thought was: Nobody steals them⁉️ Apparently I come from a different world ?
Amazing place!!!
You look so beautiful!!!
Awwww! I absolutely LOVE the Amalfi Coast! I’ve been twice, and fell in love with Positano in particular. All of your photos are beautiful – you have the longest legs ever! And the food pics – wow! You made me hungry for pizza! xoxox
Oh wow, twice? You are like a local then ? the food in that part of Italy drives me crazy. I am dreaming of it every day when I am in Milan or elsewhere ?
Honestly, since visiting, not a day goes by without me thinking about the food – haha!
Beautiful scenery!
Agree, Sam! Thank you for reading ?
Great location and the crystal clear Mediterranean sea is one of the nature’s wonder and I totally love it.
I love it too. It is quite rare to spot a spot (!) with clear water though. Where our house is it is forbidden to enter in the water because of the pollution. Of course no one applies it. On Amalfi coast luckily the scenery is a little bit different. However, only a few blue flags ?
That sounds good and the place is perfect for summer holidays.
Doors again..thank you..:) and I see you snuck in the stripes 🙂
You are challenging my English skills ? what does it mean to snuck in the stripes? 🙂
Looks AMAZING!
