A couple of days ago I went to Fortu Milano’s press day. It was hosted in the mesmerizing Offfi shop, in Isola, right behind Garibaldi train station.
The mix of luxurious leather goods and untraditional blooms completely captured my attention. And I stayed more than I should have. But the couple of hours I spent there gave me the opportunity to know more about the two founders of Fortu Milano, Carlos and Umberto.
The two gentlemen have an exquisite taste for fashion and this was clear the first moment I saw them. They have a solid background in architecture and design and have collaborated with some of the most iconic Italian designers. The creation of their own collection two years ago was the most natural next step in their careers.
They use some of the best quality leathers available on the market to make bags and accessories with a low-profile silhouette and minimalist, modern design.
The products of Fortu Milano are actually oriented towards the male wardrobe but isn’t the no gender trend one of the coolest right now?
Here are some photos of the press day.
