Uncommon Concept Store in Milan: Raw

Raw is one of the places in Milan that really excite my curiosity. It is an experience-based store where an eclectic mix of items, that apparently have nothing in common, are skilfully put together in harmony.

The curators of this exceptional venue are Paolo Badesco and Constantino Affuso, an interior designer and an architect who travel around Europe and the United States searching for “the unusual and the poetic”. It is also possible to discover some of the finest examples of the contemporary design such as the French lights of DCW or the wallpapers of Wall&Deco (with which I am irremediably in love).

The theme of the current setting is “Ma vie à Paris”. I was enchanted by  “Le Marius Bistrot”, a venue inside the venue, that is available only for private events unfortnately. Which is actually good because otherwise I wouldn’t have returned home yet after yesterday’s visit.

The Raw that I went to is a temporary store and will be open until the end of June 2016. If you are a design lover and want to see something beautiful and unusual be sure not to miss it.

Raw Temporary is in Vincenzo Monti 42, Str. Close to Cadorna metro station plus 10-15 minutes walking.

You can keep up to date with Raw’s adventures on their Instagram profile.

  1. What a beautiful place. It reminds me of some quirky shops I’ve seen in East London, but with an American twist. Great captures, my dear xx

    1. Thank you, darling! I think I have never been to East London. Need to check the area out. I love this kind of places.
