Brunch is an institution in Dubai and I had heard a lot about it from my better half who was spoiling himself while I was hustling in Milan. Now that I joined him and the weather is getting cooler (it’s not 45C anymore but just 36C) there are no more excuses not to enjoy some succulent food by the beach.
We started with the Saturday brunch at Blue Marlin Ibiza and it easily made it to the top of my most unforgettable food experiences. We happened to be there when the menu was all Spanish inspired which contributed to my already high level happiness as the Iberic cuisine is one of my favorite.
After a refreshing glass of sangria we indulged in a juicy gazpacho, fresh cut jamon, sushi, fish carpaccio and octopus with a delicate potato foam. We had to take a little break before the main course – a pan of simmering seafood paella. All this feast was accompanied by great live music and flamenco dances that made us wanna take over the stage and jig around but instead we moved to the comfy sunbeds for a last dose of homemade churros and ice cream.
I didn’t mention the best part – the food and drinks are unlimited, if you like something you can order as much as you wish.
Five hours after and two kilos heavier we left with the promise the will return again soon.
The price of the brunch is just 325 aed per person. If you want to stay in the know about the future events check out Blue Marlin Ibiza Uae’s website.
Buon appetito!
